Rotary Youth Programs

The Rotary Club of Forster on Wallis is particularly interested in programs designed to assist local young people. One of our primary objectives is to support or promote programs in the Great Lakes area that we believe benefit the youth of this area.

The Club has a proud record of supporting locally based youth organisations, but we also encourage local students to take advantage of the many youth programs offered or supported by our Rotary District (District 9650).

Rotary in Australia supports both international and local youth programs across a range of different age groups. The international programs give young people from home and abroad the opportunity to experience life in another country with a different culture.

Some of the local Rotary programs are unique to regional Australia. They are aimed specifically at generating or fostering an interest by students in important regional industries, particularly primary industries.

All the Rotary Youth programs provide the participants with experiences and skills that can only have long term benefits for them as individuals and the community as a whole.
