The Rotary Club of Forster and Wallis, in conjunction with Great lakes Council, is creating a pathway of custom made decorative paving bricks.
The objective of the project is to offer the people, organisations and businesses of the Great Lakes a method of recognising and promoting their families, peers and important community events in a tangible and long lasting manner.
The People of Great Lakes Pathway will form part of the Great Lakes Council parks and gardens strategy and become a permanent record of the people and events that are important to the Great Lakes community.
Individuals and organisations can purchase custom made bricks, similar to the examples shown below, which will become a permanent part of the pathway.
Any proceeds from the sale of the bricks not used in the construction of the pathway will be used to sponsor Rotary youth initiatives within the local community.
Below is just a few examples of events that might be celebrated with a special paver in the pathway.
There is a range of customised pavers available. The examples shown below simply to give you an idea of what the finished product might look like.
